Currently we can provide binaries for the following operating systems

After completing the request form you will receive a download link for the binaries. Download the archive file and and extract it by, e.g.
tar -xvzf CFS_RHEL_7_X86_64.tgz -C <cfs-dir>
You can now execute the start script
<cfs-dir>/bin/cfs to run CFS++.
NOTE: in order to run CFS++ using only the command
cfs you need to add the cfs binary directory
<cfs-dir> to your PATH, e.g. by
PATH=$PATH:<cfs-dir>; export PATH.
You can use pre-compiled ParaView versions and add our CFSReader-plugin to read CFS++ result files. We offer plugins for the following ParaView versions:
- CFSReader v17.x
- v4.4.0, Linux (64bit, Qt4)
- v5.0.0, Linux (64bit, Qt4, OpenGL2, MPI)
- v5.0.1, Linux (64bit, Qt4, OpenGL2, MPI)

- v5.2.0, Linux (64bit, Qt4, OpenGL2, MPI)
- v5.3.0, Linux (64bit, Qt5, OpenGL2, MPI)

- CFSReader v18.01

To install the plugin extract the downloaded archive to the install directory of your ParaView installation, e.g. by
tar -xzvf CFSReader_Linux_ParaView-v5.0.1.tar.gz -C <install-dir>
The plugin should then end up in the library path for official ParaView build, e.g.
For versions before 5.5. you need to install the plugin to the library path directly.
In order to automatically load the plugin ParaView must be restarted.
To verify that the plugin was correctly loaded open ParaView's Plungin Manager from Tools -> Manage Plugins ... and look for CFSReader.
If ParaView 5.x reports problems with rendering (OpenGL2) you need to use ParaView 4.x, or use software rendering by specifying the option 
This is common on older graphics hardware, old mesa-drivers or remote desktop connection.
